Buying this Sierra Humble Bundle is not insane point-and-click game logic

Videogame veterans and beloved developer/publisher Sierra have teamed up with Humble Bundle to create a pack of (really cheap) classic games.

In case the golden age of adventure games was before your time, Sierra Entertainment is famous for creating early point-and-click adventure games for PC that were rife with infuriating logic puzzles, but also an undeniable charm all of their own.

While the bundle is filled with many classic franchises that made the company famous, it also includes the new reboot of Sierra’s arguably most famous franchise, King’s Quest if you shell out the maximum of $20. While it shares its name with a series that began in the 80’s, this is a thoroughly new title released in 2015.

Some classic, some old, some new… what’s not to like?

Here’s what the bundle contains:

The Sierra Humble Bundle

  • Tier 1  – Pay $1 (R14.49) or more:
  • Tier 2 – Pay more than the current average ($12.60 / R182.48 at the moment):
    • Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura
    • TimeShift
    • Quest for Glory 1-5
    • Gabriel Knight 1-3
  • Tier 3  – Pay $15 (R217.24) or more:
    • Caesar 3 -4
    • Geometry Wars™ 3: Dimensions Evolved
    • King’s Quest Collection
    • Velocity 2X
  • Tier 4 – Pay $20 (R289.66) or more:
    • King’s Quest: The Complete Collection

Charities supported:

And in case Sierra games on PC aren’t what you’re looking for, the Humble PlayStation Bundle is still available for the next six days. Just keep in mind that that bundle requires a PlayStation account in a select few countries to work, with South Africa not being one of them.

What are you waiting for? Go grab a slice of gaming history and spend your weekend trying to figure out how to gather cat hair to create a fake mustache for a photo ID that you drew the mustache on, to fool someone into thinking you’re someone else who doesn’t actually have a mustache in the first place, among other things.
